Mother's Day
Celebration of Mother’s day was started way back in history in ancient Greece, it started with paying tribute to Mother of the Gods known as Rhea.
We celebrate second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day like in most of the countries. But it hasn’t being like that always. On fourth Sunday in Lent a festival called “Mothering Sunday” or “Mid-Lent Sunday” has being celebrated.
In country like India a festival known as Durga Puja has being celebrated for thousands of years in honor of divine mother durga. Now Mother’s Day is celebrated all across the country to show appreciations to the person who stood by us no matter what!
